Gold shoes

According to Vogue we should all take a pair of gold shoes with us on vacation. I think that you can wear gold shoes for almost every occasion. You can wear them under a pair of jeans, or shorts when you go to the beach, you can wear them to go out, etc. Gold shoes can give that little extra touch to your outfit. Isabel Marant

I really like Caroline's blog http://carolinesmode.com/caroline/ ! She has such a great taste and often wears Isabel Marant. I think Marant is a great designer! These are a few pictures of the SS lookbook 2011:

I also wanted to show you some looks of the FW collection 2011-2012. The dominating colors in this collection are blue, black, grey and white. I really love the fact that Marant uses the color white again for her FW collection. Underneath the FW pictures, I added some of my favorite Isabel Marant pieces. She has official stores in France, Hong Kong, Lebanon, Spain and the USA, but soon two new stores will open in Beijing and Beirut. Of course you can also buy this brand at other stores too. Picnic in the park

Yesterday my boyfriend, dog and I had to picnic in the park for a friend's movie! He told me that I had to wear something with flowers, so I put on my H&M maxi dress:

I really like to wear maxi dresses but not when I have to walk with my dog Sam ;). I arrived a bit later with him and my boyfriend started to call his name, so there I was almost flying behind my dog ;) must have been a funny sight!

These are a few maxi dresses that I would definitely wear. My favorite one, is the Ted Baker maxi dress which is 100% silk! Do you guys like to wear maxi dresses?

Flip-flops

I love to wear flip-flops when the weather is sweet ;)! I don't know how many pairs I have, but my favorites are my havaianas and my Ipanema's because they are sooo comfortable! It's like I'm not wearing shoes at all! Here are pictures of my favorite flip-flops :):

As you can see my Ipanema's are actually more water sandals and that's what I like about them. I went rafting with these babies, almost lost them :D but hey they survived! I'm really amazed about the quality of these sandals because I already have them 3 years and I wear them a lot! I want to buy new Ipanema's but I'm not a big fan of the new collection because Gisele used a lot of bow ties in it. But that's just a matter of flavor of course :). I'm really in love with the new havaianas collection. As you all know the missoni havaianas are coming up, but actually my favorites are the Paul and Joe's:

Ibiza sky :)!

I love it when people bring me souvenirs! Don't you? My boyfriend got back from Ibiza two days ago and he brought me the cutest gift :) : a cherry umbrella! The cherries are actually the symbol of the night club Pacha, which is the most famous club in Ibiza! I love it how the leaves come open when I open my umbrella :)!

My mother-in-law brought me a souvenir from the Mon2 shop in Ibiza. They have a website but it's still under construction http://www.mon2ibiza.com/ 

She brought me this cute little orange bag! I really adore the color :), which really fits into this spring's bright colors trend :)!

Aaah the weather is sweet! It has been such an amazing (almost surreal) spring in Belgium this year! These are a few items I would definitely wear:

I'm totally in love with the sunglasses from Urban Outfitters and the Proenza Schouler bracelet! The bracelet is simple but through the mix of colors it becomes a great accessory! I'm also a big fan of comfortable clothes and I think the sweater, leather shorts and the Converse sneakers would just do the job ;)! Do you like these items?

Tim Van Steenbergen

I promised to write an article about one of our Belgian designers, so here it is ;)! I chose to write about Tim Van Steenbergen because I’m absolutely in love with the White tie sunglasses that he designed for the brand Theo!

Tim Van Steenbergen went to the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts where he graduated Magna cum Laude. He launched his first collection in 2002 in Paris and a bit later his company. He also created jewelry for Swarovski, the bag “le Seau Elsa” for Lancel and so much more.

These are a few of my favorite pieces of the SS collection 2011. The dress in the second picture is my all time favorite! What are your favorite pieces? Do you like his collection?

Like I said I’m absolutely in love with the White tie, Theo sunglasses by Tim Van Steenbergen. These two are my favorites but on his website you can see the entire collection. Unfortunately these babies were sold out in only one day! The good news is that they will soon be available in sparkling colors! Can’t wait to see them!

I also wanted to show you a preview of his FW Collection 2011/2012. We can see a lot of dark colors like gray, black and white. Van Steenbergen also uses very dramatic prints in this collection:
