The royal wedding!

Yesterday Great Britain got their fairytale wedding :)! I had to go to school, therefore I missed the wedding :( (luckily my mom taped it). The whole day I wondered how Kate's dress would look like! When I got home I finally saw her dress and I just fell in love with it! The lace, the tailoring, ... just perfect! Kate looked absolutely stunning in her Sarah Burton dress! I think her dress confirms once more that Kate truly is a style icon!

I know there are already sooooo many articles about the royal wedding, but I wanted to write one as well because I saw our Belgian princess Mathilde in a People Magazine's article about the best hats of the royal wedding and that actually makes me a bit proud ;) ! Style by Marina

One of my favorite blogs is Sabrina's afterDRK blog (http://www.afterdrk.com/). I saw her wearing a few pieces of the brand Style by Marina which were absolutely gorgeous! I didn't know the brand, so I visited their website. The concept of this brand is the following: "The idea is simple. I love to wear dresses. I would definitely wear this T by Alexander Wang dress because you can combine it in many different ways. Like I already said in my H&M necklace post, feather accessories can give that little extra to your outfit!

Isabel Marant always has amazing collections! I bought similar shoes by the french brand Jonak, but mine have buckles on the side. Another designer with great collections is Michael Kors. I think his watches are just perfect! This golden watch by Michael Kors is highly ranked on my sister's wishlist :) !

H&M Fashion Against Aids!

The H&M fashion against aids collection will be available in selected H&M stores and online as of tomorrow. I really love the campaign videos, which in my opnion are very creative. The clothes/color swirl is amazing! I think the slogan is strong because of its simplicity ‘I wear, I care’!

Zara TRF lookbook April

I really like this TRF collection! A lot of cute pieces in bright colors and T-shirts with prints. Zara always has T-shirts with great prints in my opnion. I’m also a big fan of the T-shirt in lace, I think I might buy that one! What are your favorite pieces?

Househunting!

Last week my boyfriend and I went househunting! We saw this great appartment in Antwerp, which I’m totally in love with! It’s located near to the beautiful Carolus Borromeus church. I could definitely see us living there!
This is what I wore:

 

- Ray-Ban Aviator
- COS T-shirt
- Red zara pants
- Leather gladiator sandals (New Look)
- Fossil bag
- Vintage Giani-Giorgio watch and a silver ring that my boyfriend gave me for our first anniversary.

I really love my new zara pants because the fabric is so soft! This is one of the most comfortable pants I have ever worn! It’s actually from the kids collection but I don’t mind because it’s cheaper and it’s a pleasure to wear it. The 158 kids size was even larger than the smallest woman size!

My new love! COS! I sooo love this minimalistic brand! The quality is great and the collections always have nice detailing. Last season I also bought a navy sweater and a grey dress <3 !

Fossil has really stolen my heart, I'm such a big fan! Their bags are great and they have a very large collection. I always get compliments when I wear one of my Fossil bags.

H&M necklace

 

A lot of designers use feather detailing in their collections and I really love that! I bought this necklace at H&M for only 6,95 EUR. I think this necklace is perfect to give that little extra to your outfit.

Réminiscence

 

My mother-in-law gave me this cute bracelet a couple of weeks ago! I’m so in love with it! The bright orange is perfect for this spring’s color blocking/ bright colors trend.  

Réminiscence is a french brand and has two stores in Belgium, one in Antwerp and one in Brussels. You can also find Réminiscence stores in France, Italy and Monaco. Do you like this brand? I certainly do!

Eating sushi at Ebisu sushi Antwerp

 

I really love sushi! (Pic taken with my cell phone, sorry for the bad quality!)

My boyfriend and I went to eat Sushi at Ebisu Sushi (Pelgrimstraat 30) in Antwerp (http://www.ebisusushi.be/). My dad had given us a gift certificate, so we got a set menu.

As a starter we had prawn crackers and hot sake which was absolutely delicious. After that we had a hearty soup made of tofu, spring onions and shiitake mushrooms! (wish I had the recipe!)
Our main course (which you can see on the picture above) was a mixture of sushi and sashimi. It was good but there was a lot of fried prawn, salmon, etc. in the sushi. For me, sushi has to be raw. I don’t really like the fried stuff. Do you? My favorite was the tuna sashimi, really fresh so it melted in my mouth mmm! Oh yeah we drank the red house wine, which was pretty good. Maybe a bit too young, but it was okay.

What I really liked about this sushi bar was the fast service and friendly staff. The interior was nice too. We had a nice evening and good food (not extraordinary but good).

P.S: I will post an article about my favorite sushi bar soon: Miyaki  (http://www.miyaki.be/). Miyaki is a sushi bar in Brasschaat and serves the best sushi in the neighborhood!

Hello world! This is me :)
To blog or not to blog? I kept asking myself this question over and over again. As you can see I have chosen the first option ;) ! My blog will be about fashion, lifestyle, travelling, etc.

My name is Nathalie Martin and I live in Belgium. I’m 23 years old and I study multilingual communication German and English.
